Frequently Asked Questions

How do your rates compare with other hotels in the area?

Hotel Arboleda does not try to compete with the expensive luxury hotels in the area. Our rates are considerably lower. Hotel Arboleda guests are generally very sensible travelers looking for modest, clean, simple and unique accommodations.

How close are you to the beach?

We are literally, just a short walk from your hotel room to Playa Espadilla and only a 5-minute walk down to Manuel Antonio National Park. Few hotels can offer this proximity, and none with all the same amenities.

Where can we eat?

Hotel Arboleda has a full menu at the Terraza de Sol. We obviously recommend that you sample our fine cuisine and believe that you'll enjoy the food and atmosphere right on the beach. We'll be happy to recommend some other fine restaurants.

What's the weather like?

Weather in Quepos/Manuel Antonio is between 73 to 94 degrees (23 to 35 Centigrade). The main seasonal change is the amount of rain that falls. It's very dry January through April. There are afternoon showers April - August and September is the rainiest. December through February has a moderate temperature. March and April can get pretty hot, but it cools off when the rain comes.
